Dr James Dalgliesh is a highly qualified Ophthalmologist with years of experience in the field of Eye Surgery. He holds the degree of MBBS (hons) and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biotechnology, both obtained from the University of Sydney. He received his Ophthalmology training as part of the Sydney Eye Hospital network in 2015 and completed a further two years of subspecialty training in Oculoplastics.

After completing his fellowship at Sydney Eye Hospital, James stayed on in the department as a locum Oculoplastic Consultant, where he supervised and taught Registrars in both Oculoplastics and Cataract surgery.

Dr James Dalgliesh is currently a consultant with MBL Eye Surgeons, where he brings his extensive experience and training to provide outstanding services in the treatment and surgery of a wide range of eye conditions. His specialised expertise includes treating skin cancers, Lacrimal diseases/DCR surgery, Ptosis, Eyelid malpositions, Age-related Macular Degeneration, Diabetes-related conditions, Thyroid eye diseases, and Cataracts.

Dr Dalgliesh is a FRANZCO member, which signifies his affiliation with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. With his advanced skills, Dr James Dalgliesh is committed to providing state-of-the-art care for all his patients.
