Dr. Aboud completed his training in ophthalmology, with the majority of it at the prestigious Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. He furthered his specialist training in strabismus and medical retina at Southampton Hospital and Portsmouth Hospital in the United Kingdom in 1998. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Aboud has been practicing ophthalmology in Northern NSW since 1999 and started his private and public practice in Queensland in 2012. His non-metropolitan practice has allowed him to gain extensive expertise in managing diverse ophthalmological conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, lid and lacrimal diseases, and medical retina. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Aboud has been actively involved in registrar training since 2002.
