Dr Glen Wood is a highly accomplished medical professional with a wealth of experience. After completing a Science degree and two years of intensive research at Monash University in Victoria, he went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Queensland. He then completed his advanced surgical training in Urology in Queensland, followed by a year in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he gained valuable expertise in laser stone surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of Prostate Cancer. Dr Wood is a leader in his field, having founded Queensland's first brachytherapy program at Greenslopes Private Hospital in 2003. He completed training in Seed Brachytherapy at the Seattle Prostate Institute, further honing his skills and expertise. Additionally, Dr Wood is a Da Vinci trained surgeon, having performed over 650 robotic prostatectomies and trained Urologists from several other robotic units in Queensland. Dr Wood's extensive experience and expertise make him an important resource for patients seeking treatment for urological conditions. He is highly committed to ensuring that his patients receive the highest quality care, using cutting-edge technologies and techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes.
