Dr Jo Schoeman

Dr Joseph Schoeman is a highly experienced and skilled Urologist with a special interest in the management of male and female incontinence, overactive bladder, and pelvic organ prolapse. He is also proficient in treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, renal, and ureteric calculi with laser and offers surgical management of prostate, bladder, and renal cancers.

Dr Schoeman has an outstanding track record in urology. He completed his Urology Fellowship in South Africa in 2003 and moved to Australia in 2007, where he obtained his Australian Fellowship in 2008. He is a member of various prestigious medical organisations such as the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Urology Society of Australia and New Zealand, Uro-Gynaecological Society of Australia, International Uro-gynaecological Association, and the Societe International d'Urologie.

Dr Schoeman recently commenced working at the Pelvic Medicine Centre at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane. In this role, he is dedicated to managing all aspects of incontinence through a Uro-Gynaecological practice.
