Dr Matias Yudi

Dr. Matias Yudi is an esteemed Cardiologist based in Heidelberg, Melbourne. With a specialty in Interventional and Structural Heart Disease, he is highly experienced and dedicated to providing exceptional medical care to his patients. Dr. Yudi obtained his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland Medical School in 2007. Following his internship and physician training, he pursued advanced training in Cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

An accomplished professional, Dr. Yudi became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2014. He further honed his skills through subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Austin Health, followed by a Fellowship in Structural Heart Disease Intervention at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Yudi has developed an innovative smartphone-based secondary prevention program within his research area. This program aims to improve cardiac health for all Australians and has received recognition through multiple awards and competitive grants from the Victorian Government and the National Heart Foundation.

Currently, Dr. Yudi serves as a Consultant Cardiologist at Austin Health, where he holds the position of clinical lead in the Structural Heart Disease Program.
