Dr Ken Lu

Dr Ken Lu is a highly skilled and experienced cardiologist, with a special focus on non-invasive cardiac imaging. With a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 2001, he went on to obtain his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Cardiology) in 2009.

Dr Lu's primary specialty is cardiology, with a particular interest in heart failure. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in consultation and non-invasive cardiac imaging, heart failure management, valvular heart disease, and echocardiography. He is committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in his field and is currently pursuing a PhD Research Higher Degree at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on investigating the role of novel cardiac imaging modalities and biomarkers in heart failure.

Having been awarded a PhD Research Higher Degree, Dr Lu demonstrates his dedication to enhancing patient outcomes through continuous research and learning. He is currently appointed as a Locum Cardiologist and Honorary Cardiology Research Fellow at Austin Health, where he contributes to the advancement of cardiology knowledge and provides high-quality patient care.
