Dr Rahul Samanta

Dr Rahul Samanta is a highly skilled and experienced Cardiologist based in Heidelberg, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is associated with the prestigious Warringal Private Hospital. Dr Samanta holds a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Calcutta in India, which he obtained in 2002. He then pursued further medical training and completed the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Adult Medicine Division in Australia in 2013.

With a passion for cardiology, Dr Samanta specialises in various cardiac conditions, including supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular ectopic beats, arrhythmia, and atrial fibrillation. His expertise and dedication to the field have earned him recognition within the medical community, receiving the Young Investigator award twice from the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

He worked as a Research Fellow at Westmead Hospital, where his efforts and contributions resulted in the completion of his PhD from the University of Sydney in 2020. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Samanta has a keen interest in numismatics and photography. He currently resides in Melbourne with his family.
