Dr Matthew Swale

Dr. Matthew Swale is an experienced and accomplished Consultant Cardiologist with a special focus on Electrophysiology. With over two decades of experience in General Cardiology and Electrophysiology, he has made significant contributions to the field of cardiac arrhythmia management. After graduating from Monash Medical School with Honours in 1999, Dr. Swale went on to undertake General Cardiology & Electrophysiology training at the renowned Austin and Box Hill Hospitals. In 2012, he completed his Fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA.

Dr. Swale has held several prestigious positions throughout his career, including Consultant Cardiologist at The Valley Private Hospital, now known as Mulgrave Private Hospital, from 2007. He was also an Honorary Fellow at the Royal Melbourne Hospital from 2008. In 2012, Dr. Swale joined GenesisCare and quickly established himself as a valuable member of the Electrophysiology team. As a Senior Clinical Management Committee member, he has contributed significantly to expanding cardiology patient services across Victoria.
