Dr Domenika Turkiewicz

Dr Domenika Turkiewicz is a highly qualified and experienced surgeon in breast and endocrine surgery. She has received an education from the University of Queensland and has completed training in general surgery with a subsequent Fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. Her professional memberships include Breast Section Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Endocrine Surgeons, along with various other international associations.

Dr Turkiewicz ensures she utilises intra-operative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring during all thyroid and parathyroid procedures. One of her main priorities is to work closely with her patients, especially in cases of female breast cancer patients who require specialized attention and support from their health care providers. She takes pride in involving herself in a multidisciplinary breast cancer setting and also works as a surgical VMO at BreastScreen QLD Southside Service.
