Dr Daniel Mehanna

Dr. Daniel Mehanna is a highly skilled surgeon specialising in gastrointestinal endoscopy, laparoscopic, gallbladder, hernia, and colorectal surgeries. He holds an MD from the University of New South Wales and completed his residency at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Dr. Mehanna also received specialized training in colorectal surgery in Scotland before settling in Queensland.

Dr. Mehanna is an accredited member of the Gastrointestinal Society of Australia for both colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Academy of Surgical Educators. Dr. Mehanna is passionate about teaching and has been appointed a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He is also the Director of Clinical Training at Caboolture Public Hospital, where he trains and supervises trainee surgeons from the Australasian College of Surgeons.
