Dr Lee Ong

Dr Ong is an experienced Oncoplastic Breast and General Surgeon, dedicated to providing patients with expert care and treatment. He has a special interest in breast surgery for both benign and malignant conditions, offering options such as immediate breast reconstruction to help patients feel more confident and comfortable during the healing process. Dr Ong is also skilled in cosmetic breast augmentation and gynaecomastia procedures, helping his patients achieve the look they desire while ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

In addition to breast surgery, Dr Ong offers a comprehensive range of general surgery services, including emergency surgery, hernia repair, gall bladder operations, skin lesion excision, haemorrhoid procedure, pilonidal sinus surgery, and small and large bowel surgery. This allows him to treat a wide range of conditions and provide his patients with the best possible care.

Dr Ong earned his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University Victoria in 1998. He then went on to obtain his FRACS in 2012 and completed post-graduate fellowship training to become a full member of BreastSurg ANZ. He has also been a Senior Lecturer for the University of Queensland Medical School, sharing his knowledge and passion for surgery with the next generation of doctors.
