Please book an appointment to request a telehealth consultation.* Dr. Ahmed, MBBS, MRCP (UK), FRACP, is a geriatrician proficient in managing a wide range of conditions related to aging, including cognitive impairment, decline in physical function, delirium, dementia, falls, incontinence, physical frailty, and polypharmacy. Fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, Dr. Ahmed completed his medical training and Fellowship in Medicine in Pakistan before obtaining his MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians in London in 2011. He furthered his training at Cairns, Redcliffe, and Prince Charles hospitals and achieved his Fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General & Acute Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in 2017. Dr. Ahmed is recognised for his dedication to providing holistic and personalised care, focusing on both acute medical and geriatric care disciplines. His clinical approach is centred on delivering prompt and thorough interventions tailored to the individual needs of his patients. Fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, in addition to English, he is accessible to a diverse patient demographic. His commitment extends beyond patient care to teaching and clinical research. Dr. Ahmed is an active member of the American Geriatrics Society, the Australia and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine, and the Royal College of Physicians UK. He also serves as an accredited supervisor for advanced trainees of the RACP, an examiner for FRACP exams, and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
