Dr Jennifer Liang

Dr Jennifer Liang is a highly skilled general and colorectal surgeon with extensive experience treating a wide range of health disorders and disease states. After completing her fellowship in 2015 with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Liang received a subspecialist training position with CSSANZ. She spent a year at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Ohio in the USA, before continuing her training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney and the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Dr Liang has experience in laparoscopic and open surgeries for inflammatory bowel diseases, rectal cancer surgeries, surgery for hereditary bowel cancers, re-operative surgery, and more. She is also a general surgeon accredited to perform upper and lower endoscopies and holds a PhD in General Surgery for her laboratory research at the Cleveland Clinic Ohio.

Currently, Dr Liang consults at QLD Colorectal at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Spring Hill Specialist Group, and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. She also holds public appointments at the Royal Brisbane Women’s and Caboolture Hospitals.

Dr Liang is known for her exceptional patient care, sensitivity to cultural needs, pleasant bedside manner, clear communication, and dedication to her patients. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
