Dr Nghi Mai

Dr Nghi Mai is an exceptionally skilled cardiologist based in Spring Hill, Brisbane. With a wealth of experience in his field, Dr Mai obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) as well as a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland. He furthered his medical education by completing his physicians examinations at the RBH and pursuing advanced training in Cardiology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Sydney.

Dr Mai's passion for cardiology led him to conduct research at PA Hospital, focusing on right ventricular function and pulmonary hypertension using advanced echocardiographic techniques. He has since become an integral part of the Queensland Cardiovascular Group, where he specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiac conditions.

Dr Mai's areas of expertise include transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and diagnostic coronary angiography. Additionally, Dr Mai offers his services at Brisbane Private Hospital, where he provides inpatient consultations, perioperative care, and outpatient cardiac work-ups. He also performs 12-lead ECG and Holter monitoring, as well as diagnostic coronary angiography via St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital.

Dr Mai's commitment to excellence is underscored by his fellowship in echocardiography and his membership with the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
