Dr Catherine Barnett

Dr Catherine Barnett is an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon who is highly dedicated to delivering exceptional care to both adult and pediatric patients with ENT conditions. After finishing her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2011, Dr Barnett completed residency at various hospitals in Brisbane, throughout which she attained a Master's Degree at the same university.

In 2015, Dr Barnett began advanced training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. She also completed further subspecialty training in Head and Neck, Skull Base Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, where she received a scholarship from the Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation.

Dr Barnett presently has public hospital appointments at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Logan Hospital. Additionally, she has a private practice at her Wickham Terrace offices in Brisbane, as well as Greenslopes Private Hospital Specialist Clinics. Dr Barnett values the importance of working together with patients alongside their general practitioners and welcomes the opportunity to consult on all conditions of the ear, nose, and throat.

As a mother herself, Dr Barnett enjoys treating pediatric patients with regular ENT conditions such as glue ear and snoring. She also has a keen interest in nasal/sinus issues, head and neck cancer, and skull base conditions.
