Dr Bernadette Brown

Dr Brown is a knowledgeable and experienced medical practitioner with a widespread career across countries and continents. Her medical training started at the University of the Free State in South Africa. She then spent ten years in Christchurch, New Zealand, where her residency resulted in her becoming an Obstetrician Gynaecologist. In 2015, Dr Brown moved to Australia to begin sub-specialty training in Urogynaecology. She practiced in Perth for some time before returning to the Gold Coast, where she plans to settle permanently. She is currently working with the practice of A/Prof Malcolm Frazer in Benowa. Dr Brown is an expert in Urogynaecology, which is the subspecialty of gynaecology that focuses on the female urinary system and pelvic floor.

When she is not working, Dr Brown is busy at home with her husband, Guy, raising a pensive 6-year-old and a spirited 3-year-old. Her perseverance, knowledge, and experience make her a valuable addition to any patient's medical team.
