Dr Zoltan Hrabovszky

We are excited to introduce Mr Zoltan Hrabovszky, a highly skilled General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, who has recently joined the team at Waverley Private Hospital. Originally from Pecs, Hungary, Zoltan graduated with a medical and surgical degree before moving to Australia in 1997. He completed his specialist training in General and Paediatric Surgery and obtained a Doctorate in Medicine from The University of Melbourne in 2004. Zoltan then went on to further his surgical training at prestigious hospitals including The Royal Children’s, Austin, St Vincent’s, Box Hill and Dandenong Hospitals. He successfully obtained his Fellowship in General Surgery in 2010.

While General Surgery remains his primary area of expertise, Zoltan has a keen interest in Colorectal and Paediatric/Adolescent Surgery. Zoltan is passionate about delivering the highest standard of care to his patients. He is a committed and compassionate surgeon who will ensure every patient receives the best possible surgical outcome. Zoltan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team at Waverley Private Hospital, where he is available to consult locally and conduct surgery.
