Mr Kareem Marwan

Kareem Marwan is a well-established consultant General surgeon who specialises in Colorectal (lower gastrointestinal) surgery. With a focus on minimally invasive procedures, Mr. Marwan routinely offers Laparoscopic or Robotic Surgery to his patients. In addition, he performs upper and lower GI endoscopy and advanced lower GI endoscopic surgery.

Mr. Marwan serves at Eastern Health Hospitals and maintains a specialist surgical practice in the eastern suburbs’ private hospitals. He obtained his surgical fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2012 after completing his training at several notable healthcare facilities, including St Vincent’s Hospital, the Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Mr. Marwan then continued his training in the subspecialty of Colorectal surgery at Colchester Hospital NHS trust, which is recognized as one of the leading UK centers in laparoscopic bowel surgery.

Before beginning his general surgical training, Mr. Marwan completed advanced pediatric surgery training in Paris, France.
