Mr Christopher Chang

Dr Christopher Chang is a highly skilled Urologist with a wealth of experience in managing and treating a broad spectrum of urological conditions. With a particular interest in prostate cancer, Dr. Chang is adept in administering Brachytherapy and Laparoscopic (keyhole) Radical Prostatectomy, offering his patients the latest and most efficacious treatment modalities available. Alongside this, he is interested in minimally invasive laparoscopic urological surgery, which is transforming how urologic surgical procedures are performed.

Dr Chang received his medical degree from the prestigious University of Melbourne before undertaking his surgical training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand. During his Advanced Surgical Training, he conducted a year-long clinical research study at the Austin and Repatriation Medical Centre, deliberating on the role of tumour antigens in the potential development of a vaccine for urological cancers.

Further to that, Dr Chang pursued additional post-graduate training in the United Kingdom at the North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke. It was there where he completed a 12-month fellowship programme meticulously focusing on laparoscopic urological surgery, earning him the recognition of being one of the leading authorities within his field.

In Dr Chang’s private practice, he treats an array of urologic medical concerns, ranging from cancers, kidney stones, voiding dysfunction, and various diseases within the urinary tract.
