Dr Kay Thwe Htun

Kay is a highly qualified medical professional, accredited as both a clinical haematologist and haematopathologist. After completing her training in clinical and laboratory haematology at The Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne, she pursued a year-long fellowship in thrombosis, both in clinical practice and research, at Vancouver General Hospital in Canada.

Returning to Melbourne in 2017, Kay worked as a haematology fellow at the prestigious Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre before joining the haematology oncology specialist group at Peninsula Private Hospital in December 2017. In addition to her work at Peninsula Private Hospital, Kay also works as a consultant haematologist at Frankston Public Hospital and Monash Medical Centre.
