Dr Siang Min Cheah

Meet Dr. Minz Cheah, an Acute Care Medicine specialist with a particular expertise in heart failure and perioperative medicine. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 with an MBBS and completed his junior medical training at Eastern Health before joining the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He then stayed on at Monash Health as a consultant physician, where he completed his advanced training and continues his affiliation. Minz also has public appointments at Monash Health (Dandenong and Casey) and runs a collaborative heart failure program there.

Not content to simply treat his patients' conditions, Minz believes in spending time with them, explaining their diagnoses and creating step-by-step management plans that are carefully tailored to each individual. He is a strong advocate of evidence-based medicine and works to ensure that his patients understand their diseases and are equipped with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health.
