Mr Theo Partsalis

Mr Partsalis has a vast interest in orthopaedic surgery, particularly focusing on hip and knee replacement surgery, including revision surgery. He is also experienced in knee arthroscopy, knee ligament reconstruction surgery, as well as the management and repair of rotator cuff pathology. After completing his medical studies at Monash University, Mr Partsalis underwent his orthopaedic surgical training. He was awarded his fellowship in 2011 before spending 18 months abroad, where he gained invaluable experience and skills. During this time, he completed a 12-month lower limb arthroplasty fellowship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, further specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, with a particular emphasis on knee replacement revision surgery. Throughout his career, Mr Partsalis has actively sought opportunities to expand his knowledge and expertise. He has attended conferences, observerships, and training courses internationally. Additionally, he has volunteered his services in Erbil, Iraq, for ten days and spent three weeks visiting the Artro arthroplasty group in Annecy, France, where he gained valuable skills and experiences. Mr Partsalis offers his expertise to patients with general orthopaedic conditions. He has a public appointment at Peninsula Health (Frankston Hospital) and is fluent in Greek.
