Mr Andrew Chia is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgery. He graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2000 and completed his surgical training in 2010. With extensive experience in complex reconstructions and trauma, Andrew has acquired exceptional surgical skills.
After his initial years at The Alfred Hospital, Australia's largest trauma center, where he provided care to patients with elective hip, knee, and shoulder conditions, Andrew pursued further specialization. He completed a fellowship in hip arthroscopy and anterior minimally invasive total hip replacements in Melbourne, followed by a fellowship in hip and knee surgery in Lyon, France.
Andrew is actively involved in the selection, training, and examination of future Australian orthopaedic surgeons and serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University.
