Mr Austin Vo

Mr Austin Vo is an Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Box Hill, Melbourne. He specialises in surgeries related to the shoulder and knee. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 2001 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) in 2011. Mr Vo further enhanced his skills with specialised fellowships across multiple countries. He completed a Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2011, followed by a Shoulder Fellowship in Oxford, UK in 2012. In 2013, he pursued an Advanced Shoulder Arthroscopy Fellowship in Annecy, France, as well as a Sports Medicine & Upper Extremity Reconstruction Fellowship in Winnipeg, Canada.

Mr Vo's primary interests lie in knee and shoulder surgeries. He has expertise in shoulder arthroscopic surgery for conditions such as rotator cuff tear, impingement syndrome, calcific tendinopathy, adhesive capsulitis, labral tear, and instability. He is also skilled in performing the Latarjet procedure for recurrent shoulder instability and various shoulder trauma surgeries, including fractured clavicles and AC joint injuries. Additionally, Mr Vo performs knee arthroscopic surgery to address meniscus tears, ACL injuries, and patellofemoral instability. He is experienced in both partial and total knee replacements utilizing the MAKO Robotic joint replacement system.
