Jin Tee

Associate Professor Jin Tee is a highly-skilled complex spine surgeon and neurosurgeon specialising in minimally invasive and open surgical solutions for all spinal pathologies. With an extensive clinical practice in complex spine and neurosurgery, A/Prof. Tee also has expertise in neurotrauma, metastatic brain disease, hydrocephalus, and geriatric care.

After graduating from the University of Melbourne, A/Prof. Tee completed his neurosurgery training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Alfred Hospital, St. Vincent's Hospital, and the Royal Children's Hospital. His postdoctoral research on clinical outcomes of spine surgery in spine trauma, degenerative spine, and spine oncology has been extensively published.

A/Prof. Tee also has an impressive research portfolio, as a member of the AOSpine International Trauma Knowledge Forum, a global partner of the AOSpine International RECODE-DCM initiative, and a member of the Alfred Trauma Registry steering committee. He is also the head of spine trauma research at the National Trauma Research Institute and part of the medical advisory group for the Bionic Eye project in Melbourne.
