Dr Saurabh Kumar

Dr Saurabh Kumar is a highly accomplished Cardiologist specialising in interventional cardiology. He practices in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Dr Kumar is currently the Program Director for Ventricular Arrhythmias and Sudden Cardiac Death at Westmead Hospital and holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney.

Dr Kumar's expertise lies in the treatment of various cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, flutter, tachycardia, and supraventricular tachycardias. He is also highly skilled in the implantation and follow-up of cardiac devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, and the latest totally external subcutaneous defibrillator. In addition, he specialises in managing familial cardiomyopathies and inherited arrhythmia syndromes.

Dr Kumar has served as a guest editor for the Heart, Lung & Circulation Journal and sits on the editorial boards of several other esteemed cardiology journals. He further demonstrates his commitment to the field by holding the position of Chair of the Heart Rhythm Council for the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
