Dr Charlotte Potter

Dr. Charlotte Potter is a highly trained and skilled paediatrician who completed her specialist training in 2022 at the Northern Beaches Hospital and The Royal Hospital for Women (Randwick). She completed most of her paediatric and neonatal training within the Children’s Health Queensland network and Queensland Children’s Hospital in Queensland. Her extensive experience in various paediatric areas such as general paediatrics, cardiology, emergency medicine, paediatric rural medicine and neonatal fellow in tertiary neonatal intensive care units across NSW and QLD including stabilisation and transport of sick newborns from remote/regional hospitals to tertiary neonatal intensive care make her an expert in providing tailored care to patients from birth through to adolescence.

Currently, Charlotte works as a general paediatrician at Northern Beaches Hospital where she provides individualized care to patients of diverse healthcare needs. Her experience of practicing across a variety of healthcare settings, including regional/rural areas and tertiary critical care, has exposed her to a variety of cases. This breadth of experience enables her to provide specific and tailored care to the children of the Northern Beaches with a vast variety of healthcare needs. Her special interests in neonatology, acute paediatrics, developmental assessments and surveillance, and family-based care of newborns, give her a unique perspective.

Dr. Potter is passionate about providing holistic care to paediatric patients in the context of their wider social network. Her patient-centered approach involves supporting families in navigating their specific healthcare needs while empowering them to make informed decisions along the way. Dr. Potter's ultimate goal is to improve the well-being of her patients and their families through personalized care and support.
