Dr Shen Wong

Dr Shen Wong is a highly skilled Vascular, Endovascular, and Transplant surgeon currently practicing at various renowned hospitals in New South Wales, including Royal North Shore, North Shore Private, and Northern Beaches Hospitals. He specialises in treating a broad range of vascular diseases, with a particular focus on complex aneurysmal disease. Dr Wong completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, earning an honors degree. He then embarked on his professional career as an intern and resident at the Royal North Shore Hospital and went on to complete a Master of Medicine in Surgery at Sydney University after serving as a Research Fellow in the Vascular Department at Royal North Shore.

Dr Wong underwent specialized vascular surgical training in the UK and later spent years at various top-rated hospitals in Australia, including Fremantle Hospital in WA, and Liverpool, Royal North Shore, and Westmead Hospitals in NSW. He was awarded a fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for his excellent work in the field. He went on to attain advanced skills in aortic endovascular surgery by completing a one-year international fellowship at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in the USA.

Dr Wong has a keen interest in endovascular surgery, aortic endograft design, clinical and basic scientific research, and has presented his work on various international forums, winning many awards. Moreover, he is a Clinical Lecturer at the Northern Clinical School, Sydney University, where he takes an active part in teaching medical students, junior doctors, and specialist surgical trainees. Dr Wong is a highly respected member of the medical fraternity and is known for his compassionate approach towards his patients.
