Dr Daniel Nguyen

Dr Daniel Nguyen is a highly skilled Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon currently practising across multiple public and private clinics in Sydney. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of NSW, Dr Nguyen went on to earn a Masters of Commerce from the same institution and a Masters of Surgery from the University of Sydney. He completed his Fellowship in General Surgery training through the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2011 before undertaking further vascular surgical training at several prestigious Australian hospitals.

Dr Nguyen obtained dual fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in 2016 and has since been appointed to the vascular surgical departments of Northern Beaches Private Hospital, as well as Royal North Shore and Nepean Public hospitals. He played a crucial role in the development of these tertiary surgical units, which included research activities, teaching, and mentoring of training surgeons, junior doctors, and medical students. Dr Nguyen is also a co-coordinator of the Vascular Surgery module for the University of Sydney Masters of Surgery program, highlighting his passion for teaching and education.

Dr Nguyen’s area of expertise is complex aortic and arterial diseases, as well as venous pathologies. He is highly knowledgeable in current endovascular technologies and devices, and has experience in the management of chronic ulcers and the minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins. Dr Nguyen is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care, and is recognised as a leading expert in his field.
