Associate Professor Felix Chan is a highly accomplished gynecological oncologist and the Director of Gynecological Oncology at Liverpool Hospital. With over 35 years of experience, A/Prof Chan is a leading expert in his field and is highly regarded for his expertise in advanced laparoscopic, robotic, vaginal, and open surgery for the treatment of complex gynecological issues and malignancies.

His primary practicing suburb is Westmead, located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. A/Prof Chan is affiliated with Sydney Southwest Private Hospital and Westmead Private Hospital. He has a strong presence in the medical community and serves as a senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales, as well as a tutor in surgical skills for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

His works include a prospective audit of management in bowel obstruction in patients with gynecologic cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital in 1997, a case report and review of literature on primary peritoneal mesodermal adenosarcoma in Gynae Oncology in 2001, and a chapter on laparoscopic radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy in Techniques in Laparoscopic Surgery, translated into Chinese for publishing via Peking Press. He has also contributed to Gynaecological Oncology: Case-Based Management in Oncology, edited by P. Harnett, and published research on the role of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of endometrial cancer at Liverpool Hospital in 2012. Furthermore, he has written on the future of gynecological surgery in Australasia, emphasizing the potential of robotic-assisted procedures.

Apart from his professional accomplishments, A/Prof Chan is fluent in Chinese (Cantonese) and Chinese (Mandarin), which allows him to effectively communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. His commitment to patient care and ongoing research is evident through his role as the Medical Director of the Eggtober Foundation, an organization that raises funds for gynecological cancer research.
