Dr Kumara Siriwardena

Dr Kumara Siriwardena is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Westmead, Sydney, Australia. He completed his medical degree with Honours at Monash University and went on to train as a specialist at Westmead Hospital in Sydney. Dr Siriwardena has been in private practice since 2001, with admitting rights at Westmead Public Hospital where he delivers his high-risk obstetric patients.

With extensive experience in his field, Dr Siriwardena has earned recognition among his peers and juniors as an exemplary clinician. He served as the Chairman of the O&G Department at Westmead Private Hospital from 2006 to 2013. During his tenure, he developed a reputation for his dedication to patient care and his commitment to the advancement of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Siriwardena is passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of medical professionals. He currently serves as a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney and is actively involved in teaching medical students. Additionally, he acts as an examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
