Dr Isuru Nammuni

Dr Nammuni is a highly skilled Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon whose expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions, including peripheral arterial disease, aneurysmal disease, dialysis access surgery, lower limb ulcers and diabetic feet, carotid disease and stroke prevention, and varicose veins. With a particular interest in minimally invasive endovascular and endovenous surgery, he is committed to providing his patients with the best possible outcomes.

After earning his undergraduate medical degree and completing his vascular surgical training in Australia and Cambridge, UK, Dr Nammuni undertook a prestigious fellowship in advanced aortic and peripheral endovascular surgery in Leipzig, Germany. Since returning to Sydney in 2012, he has practiced as a VMO Vascular Surgeon at RPA, The Mater Hospital, and Dubbo Hospital, as well as at the Northern Beaches Hospital since its opening in 2018.

Dr Nammuni's dedication to research, teaching, and ongoing professional development is evident in his work as the supervisor of training for vascular surgery at RPA. He is also heavily involved in research, contributing to advancements in the field and ensuring that his patients benefit from the latest technologies and techniques.

As part of his commitment to excellence, Dr Nammuni has established consulting rooms and a dedicated vascular ultrasound lab at Northern Beaches Vascular on Level 6 of the Northern Beaches Hospital. This facility enables him to provide comprehensive care to his patients, from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up care. With his extensive knowledge and experience in the field, Dr Nammuni is a valued member of the medical community and a trusted partner in his patients' healthcare journeys.
