Dr Andrew Lennox is an experienced Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon, with over 20 years of experience and a special interest in aortic, carotid, peripheral, and venous interventions. He completed his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 1988, a Master of Science from the University of London, and his training from prestigious institutes in Sydney, St Mary's Hospital in London, and the Arizona Heart Institute in the USA.
Dr Lennox is committed to using world-leading minimally invasive endovascular technologies to provide his patients with the best possible care. He was one of the first vascular surgeons in Australia to adopt new techniques in his practice. He was appointed Head of Department for Vascular Surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, and Royal Hospital for Women in 2007. He has been an essential member of the Kidney Transplant Team, performing cadaveric and living-related transplants for East Coast Renal Services in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
Dr Lennox has also been providing Vascular Surgery assistance to Neurosurgeons in Sydney and Gosford for over 10 years, performing the anterior approach to the spine for ALIF and disc replacement surgery. He is an active member of The Board of Vascular Surgery for Australia and New Zealand, overseeing the Vascular Surgery Education and Training Program. Moreover, he is the Principal Supervisor of the Prince of Wales Vascular Fellowship program, providing world-class training for international vascular trainees.
Dr Lennox is a respected member of the medical community and has a reputation for providing his patients with excellence in clinical care while keeping them involved in their treatment decisions. He has consulting rooms in Randwick and Miranda.
