Dr Priyanka Sud

Dr Priyanka Sud is a highly skilled and experienced cardiologist, specialising in cardiovascular disease prevention, coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, preoperative cardiovascular risk assessment, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and structural heart disease. She has a particular subspecialty interest in cardiac imaging, including transthoracic echocardiography, CTCA, stress echocardiography, and transoesophageal echocardiography.

Dr Sud completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University in Australia in 2010. She then underwent basic physicians training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Following this, she pursued specialist cardiology training at Nepean Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital. Dr Sud further honed her skills and expertise in cardiology imaging by completing a Cardiology Imaging Fellowship at Prince of Wales Hospital, where she also became a Level A CTCA Specialist.

Dr Sud is the founder of Sydney Cardiac Specialists and consults at various clinics, including the Sydney Cardiac Specialists clinic in Leichhardt, Bayview Cardiology clinic in Kogarah, and Wales Cardiology in Randwick. She holds visiting medical officer (VMO) privileges at Prince of Wales Private Hospital and Eastern Heart Clinic in Randwick. Additionally, she serves as an Honorary Medical Officer (HMO) at Prince of Wales Hospital, where she has public hospital admitting and procedural rights. Dr Sud also reports CT coronary angiograms with Spectrum Medical Imaging.
