Dr Catherine Meller

Dr Catherine Meller is an accomplished Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck and Facial Reconstructive surgeon who specialises in treating a range of adult and pediatric ENT conditions. She acquired her specialist ENT training via the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and graduated with honours from the University of Sydney Medical School. Her particular fondness for managing ENT conditions led her to embrace leading-edge facial reconstructive and facial nerve reanimation surgery, an area that she received two years of training for in cutting-edge medical centres in the USA such as the John Hopkins Baltimore and the University of Virginia Charlottesville to treat patients with facial nerve disorders, skin cancers, congenital, and post-traumatic facial conditions.

Sharing her medical knowledge and expertise is a great passion of hers and she regularly mentors junior doctors as well as collaborates with other health professionals to administer courses. Dr Meller also speaks at national and international conferences on both clinical and non-clinical topics such as ‘Leadership in Medicine’. She is part of the Academy of Surgical Education and is a spokesperson for the Royal College of Surgeons’ ‘Women in Surgery’ chapter.

Dr Meller enjoys offering a comprehensive range of ENT services in the Northern Beaches, North Shore, and Inner City regions, where she also has a public hospital appointment at Prince of Wales Hospital. Outside of her work, Dr Meller cherishes spending quality time with her young family, exploring new travel destinations, baking, and skiing.
