Dr Tim Hucker

Dr Tim Hucker is a highly qualified pain specialist who specialises in back and neck pain, nerve pain, cancer-related pain, peripheral pain, CRPS, and pelvic pain. With a holistic approach to pain management, Tim uses interventional pain procedures as a pragmatic part of his practice.

Tim completed his medical training in the UK at the University of London and Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals. He then specialized in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine in London at St. George’s Hospital and in Sydney at Royal Prince Alfred. He also undertook fellowships in palliative care and paediatric & adult intensive care, gaining extensive experience and knowledge in the field of pain management.

After working at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as the Clinical Lead for Pain and the Cabrini Group Hospitals, Tim moved to Sydney to open Northern Beaches Pain Management in 2021. Alongside his clinical work, Tim is also a Faculty of Pain Medicine examiner, an adviser for the Faculty on interventional pain management, a lecturer at Monash University, and the Chair of the working party for adult cancer pain management guidelines at the Cancer Council Australia.
