Navid Amirabadi

Dr. Amirabadi is an experienced and empathetic medical professional with diverse expertise in emergency medicine, rural and general practice, palliative care, and pain management. After completing his post-graduate training in emergency medicine, he worked as an emergency physician overseas before migrating to Australia in 2004. He then pursued three specialist training programs in Rural General Practice, Palliative Medicine, and Pain Medicine, and also completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice across several hospitals in Western Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland. Dr. Amirabadi is a firm believer in the importance of attentive listening to the unique needs of each patient, as they are the best source of information that can lead to an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. He endorses interdisciplinary and multi-modal approaches that encompass a combination of physical and psychological interventions, medication optimisation, and interventional techniques such as radio-frequency treatments and spinal cord and peripheral stimulation. He frequently uses his passion for aviation to fly to rural and regional areas and provide relief to patients suffering from pain, as he believes that everyone deserves a better quality of life. Dr. Amirabadi consults patients in Campbeltown and Parramatta and visits Sydney South West Private Hospital and Campbelltown Private Hospital.
