A/Prof Nirmal Patel

A/Prof Nirmal Patel is a highly qualified medical professional who graduated with honours from the University of Sydney and completed his ENT training in 2002. With a passion for research, he went on to earn a Master of Surgery degree with training at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and New York University, under the guidance of Professor Anil Lalwani. His research focused on Gene and Stem Cell Therapy of the Inner Ear, which has the potential to benefit many patients who suffer from hearing loss.

Currently serving as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Macquarie University and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, A/Prof Patel uses his skills to educate the next generation of medical professionals while also providing patients with the highest level of care. He has a wealth of experience in his field and is well-known for his expertise and dedication to his profession. Through his work, he has contributed significantly to the medical community, both in Australia and internationally.
