Dr Nedal Katib is a highly skilled Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with a wealth of experience gained from training in various international locations. After completing his surgical training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, which took him across Australia, New Zealand and Belgium, Dr Katib embarked on an impressive career in surgery that has seen him practice in Dubai, Ireland, and Melbourne. Dr Katib has been endowed with various academic accolades including a Masters in Surgical Anatomy from the prestigious University of Sydney and is currently a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales Medical School. In his current position, he is operating at Prince of Wales Hospital NSW, St Vincent’s Hospital NSW as well as Southern Highlands Private Hospital in Bowral where he is known for his thorough and approachable manner. Dr Katib has a keen interest in research, as well as academic and educational pursuits. He has demonstrated his commitment to advancing the body of clinical knowledge in the vascular space by routinely presenting at international platforms. He is recognised in the area of innovative treatment options for advanced arterial disease, and his practice is focused on Endovascular and Minimally Invasive Surgery, frequently dealing with Aortic Aneurysms and Aortic Dissections, Aortoiliac Occlusive Disease, Lower Limb Arterial Occlusive Disease, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Upper Limb Arterial, and Venous Disease, Diabetes and peripheral neuropathy, Carotid Artery Disease and Stroke, and Venous Disorders.
