Dr Kiran Swaraj

Dr Kiran Swaraj is an experienced cardiologist with expertise in clinical and imaging cardiology. She currently practices in Randwick and the southwest regions of Sydney, while also extending her cardiology practice to the Sydney Cardiac Specialists.

Dr Swaraj completed her Physician's training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, where she excelled in her role as Chief Medical Resident and played a significant role in the training of medical registrars. She went on to complete her Cardiology and Echocardiography Fellowships at RPAH, gaining valuable experience in the fields of cardiac transplantation, severe heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension.

Dr Swaraj possesses a unique dual training in Nuclear Medicine and PET, which adds to her extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of cardiology. She has a keen interest in the prevention and management of coronary artery disease (CAD), with a particular focus on minimally invasive modalities. She is dedicated to choosing the most appropriate diagnostic tools for the detection and comprehensive management of CAD, especially in women.

In addition to general cardiology consultations, Dr Swaraj offers a range of specialised services including echocardiography, exercise testing, holter/event monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, cardiac computed tomography (CT), and nuclear cardiology services. Her ability to communicate fluently in Hindi and Marathi allows her to effectively cater to a diverse patient population.
