Claire is a highly skilled paediatric cardiologist who has dedicated her career to helping babies, children, and adolescents with cardiac problems. She obtained her training in paediatrics and paediatric cardiology in the UK, where she embarked on a year-long fellowship in paediatric cardiology in Pittsburgh, USA, followed by a clinical research fellowship in paediatric heart failure and cardiac transplantation. In 2015, Claire moved to Australia and has been working as a staff specialist in paediatric cardiology at both Children’s Hospital Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, for over six years. In addition, she holds a position as a senior clinical lecturer for the University of Sydney.
Claire has extensive experience in the management of all forms of congenital heart disease and cardiac presentations from infancy to adulthood. She is well-versed in the management of paediatric heart failure and pulmonary hypertension and can provide comprehensive care for babies, children, and adolescents with all types of cardiac symptoms. Claire is fully equipped to perform echocardiograms and arrange for other cardiac investigations as required. She also offers screening services for children who may have significant cardiac diagnoses such as cardiomyopathies.
As an accomplished paediatric cardiologist, Claire is dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients. She believes in a patient-centred approach and works collaboratively with families to ensure the best possible outcomes. Claire is a valuable asset to the teams at Children’s Hospital Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
