Dr Michael Hatzifotis is an accomplished General Surgeon with dual specialisation in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery and bariatric surgery. He completed his General Surgery training in Queensland and secured the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. He further honed his surgical skills by gaining three years of specialist training in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. During his training tenure, he was appointed as the laparoscopic hepato-pancreato-biliary and bariatric surgery Fellow at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
