Dr Shenaz Seedat

Dr Shenaz Seedat is a highly qualified endocrinologist with extensive experience in the field. She completed her Medical degree at The University of Queensland and received Specialist training in Endocrinology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital. After having an established practice in Brisbane, she decided to relocate overseas in 2013 but has recently returned and recommenced consulting at Greenslopes Private Hospital since December 2020.

During her time abroad, Dr Seedat gained a wide range of expertise, which she is excited to use in her practice in Brisbane. She offers the highest standard of care to her patients and specialises in a range of endocrine disorders, including continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy. Dr Seedat believes that individualisation and education are the key elements in optimising patient care and actively involves her patients in healthcare decisions.

Apart from consulting, Dr Seedat enjoys teaching medical students and junior medical staff. She also regularly provides endocrine presentations for medical professionals and is a member of the Endocrine Society (USA).
