Dr Stephanie Teasdale is a qualified and experienced endocrinologist practicing in Brisbane, Australia. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2006. Dr Teasdale subsequently completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Adult Medicine Division, specialising in Endocrinology, in 2016.
Dr Teasdale has a wide range of expertise in the field of endocrinology. She focuses on the management of conditions such as type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid dysfunction (including hyperfunction and hypofunction), adrenal dysfunction (including congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hirsutism, Cushing's syndrome, and hyperaldosteronism), gonadal dysfunction (including testosterone deficiency, premature and early menopause, and polycystic ovarian syndrome), and pituitary tumors.
With a strong commitment to patient care, Dr Teasdale strives to provide the best possible treatment options for her patients. She is skilled in using pump therapy for type 1 diabetes management and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those with endocrine disorders.
Dr Teasdale has contributed to the medical field through her research and publications. She has been involved in studies exploring the changes in biochemical tests during pregnancy and their clinical significance. Her work has been published in reputable journals such as Emergency Medicine Australasia, Obstetric Medicine, J Pediatr Endocrinol Metab, and Heart Lung Circ.
In addition to her medical qualifications, Dr Teasdale holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Minerals Processing and a PhD. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology.
