Dr Sandie Staermose

Dr Sandie Staermose is a highly qualified endocrinologist who graduated with honours in 1999 from the University of Queensland. Her passion for endocrinology was ignited during her time as a medical student and has only grown stronger over the years. She spent two years working in the United Kingdom before returning to Brisbane to work for Mater Health Services and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Furthering her knowledge and experience in the field of endocrinology, Dr Staermose completed her specialist training at these hospitals. She is a specialist in treating a range of endocrine conditions and is dedicated to providing her patients with the latest care options available. Dr Staermose is particularly known for her expertise in the management of insulin pump therapy for Type 1 Diabetes. She is highly regarded in the medical community and is held in high esteem by her patients, who appreciate her dedication, compassion and professionalism. In 2009, Dr Staermose began her successful career as a consultant endocrinologist in private practice.
