A/Prof Harald Puhalla

Assoc Prof Harald Puhalla, MD FRACS is a skilled general surgeon with a keen interest in bariatric, hepato-pancreatic-biliary, and upper gastrointestinal surgeries. He underwent rigorous training at the prestigious University Hospital of Vienna and worked alongside globally-renowned surgical leaders, developing expertise in modern minimally invasive techniques.

As a PhD holder, Prof Puhalla also has a passion for research, teaching, and scientific pursuits. He currently works as the Professor of Surgery for Griffith School of Medicine at GCUH, where he holds a public appointment.
