Dr David Martin

Dr. Martin is a highly experienced medical oncologist with extensive expertise in the field of cancer care. After completing his MRCP and training in Medical Oncology in the UK, he moved to Australia in 2003 and has since then been an integral part of the healthcare industry. For over a decade, he has held a public appointment at Tweed Hospital where he leads the multidisciplinary meetings for the treatment of breast cancer, urological cancers, gastrointestinal disease, and palliative care. Dr. Martin works closely with surgeons and physicians at John Flynn, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.

Dr. Martin's main area of interest is in the treatment of testicular, castrate-resistant prostate, and breast cancers, alongside his passion for clinical trials recruitment and providing palliative care. He goes the extra mile to ensure that his patients have access to cutting-edge treatments and support that they need while undergoing their treatment. Despite his specialization in non-haematological malignancies, Dr. Martin is dedicated to treating all patients with cancer, regardless of their condition.
