Dr Alice Chang

Dr. Alice Chang is a highly trained and skilled orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on foot and ankle surgeries. She also has a strong interest in hand and trauma surgeries. She graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2008 and underwent extensive training in various hospitals across NSW and ACT between 2013 and 2018. Dr. Chang received her FRACS in orthopaedic surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and her FAOrthA from the Australian Orthopedic Association in 2018. She completed her fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery to further subspecialize in her area of interest.

With her commitment to staying up to date with the latest clinical evidence and surgical techniques, Dr. Chang provides individualized care for her patients, ensuring the best possible outcomes. She is also a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney Medical School, where she teaches medical students and junior surgeons.

Dr. Chang’s areas of interest include foot and ankle surgeries such as bunion and bunionette surgery, deformity correction, toe nail surgery, tendon repair and reconstruction, arthritis treatment, joint replacement, joint fusion, minimally invasive surgery, and arthroscopic surgery. She also specializes in hand surgeries such as carpel tunnel decompression and trigger finger release.

Dr. Chang is based in multiple locations and consults from Strathfield, Bankstown, Chatswood, Hurstville, and Leichhardt. She practices in Strathfield Private Hospital and Hurstville Private Hospital, as well as Bankstown-Lidcome Hospital.
