Dr Xuan Ye

Dr Xuan Ye is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon specializing in surgeries of the elbow, hand, shoulder, and upper limb. Based in Strathfield, Sydney, he is associated with Prince Of Wales Private Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital. Dr Ye received his medical degree with First Class Honours from the University of New South Wales and has been registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency since 2012.

Dr Ye's subspecialty interest in adolescent and paediatric upper extremity surgery led him to undergo paediatrics training at the renowned Shriners Children’s Hospital in Portland (Oregon, USA). He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Ye has completed four subspecialist fellowships in hand wrist and microsurgery, shoulder and elbow surgery, adult upper limb & trauma, and paediatric upper limb surgery in leading institutions.

With extensive training and experience, Dr Ye is skilled in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgeries of the upper limb, including arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery, shoulder replacement surgery, arthroscopic wrist reconstruction, and pyrocarbon joint replacement surgery. He is experienced in treating congenital, post-traumatic, and sporting injuries in adolescents and children, as well as high energy upper limb trauma, microsurgery, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr Ye is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) and consults across the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West regions of Sydney. As a full member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for all conditions affecting the upper limb.
