Dr Abhay Daniel is a highly qualified Endocrinologist and General Physician. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology and General Medicine at Royal Brisbane and Gold Coast Hospitals, as well as additional training at the University of Colorado, USA. Dr Daniel has a special interest in treating Type 1 Diabetes, Diabetes in pregnancy, Insulin Pumps, Osteoporosis, Thyroid, and Endocrine disorders. In addition to his extensive experience in General Medicine, he is also part of the inpatients Physician roster at John Flynn Private Hospital. Dr Daniel offers three rapid access outpatient clinics per week at John Flynn Private Hospital and provides his patients with minimal waiting times for appointments. Furthermore, Dr Daniel is affiliated with numerous organisations such as the Endocrine Society of Australia (ESA), Australian Diabetes Society (ADS), and the Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand (IMSANZ). Dr Daniel holds academic appointments as a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and Associate Professor at Bond University. Additionally, he serves as Director of Physician Education at The Tweed Hospital.
